DOES JROTC REQUIRE CADETS TO ENLIST IN THE MILITARY?

The JROTC program does not require its cadets to enlist during or after their participation in the program. It is up to the cadet whether or not they enlist. Less than 1% of Cadets make a personal decision to join the Military.

DOES JROTC OFFER ANY SCHOOL BENEFITS?

The JROTC program offers an academic environment designed to help students grow, and it provides multiple amenities for students such as scholarships opportunities.

IS JROTC A REQUIRED COURSE?

No, JROTC in itself is not a required course.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM COST.

To cadets, entering the program is free of cost. However, every cadet will eventually be asked for a small fee in order to help the program fluently function. This small fee will be used in order to purchase uniforms and other items for the cadets.

WHAT IS TAUGHT IN THE JROTC CLASS?

In the JROTC class, cadets can expect to go over a variety of material. The curriculum is segmented into multiple sections including leadership training, basics of citizenship, U.S Military History, first aid, human relations, proper etiquette, good techniques for oral communication, drill and ceremony and other topics related to the U.S. Army.
